[ Director/Writer] Shu Zhu

Shu is a graduate from American Film Institute’s Directing Program and holds a BFA from NYU in Film and TV Production. After a period of assistant work for Martin Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions and Chinese artist He Xiangyu, Shu co-founded a boutique production company, Noface Productions while freelancing as a producer and cinematographer for independent projects in New York. The films Shu’s directed/produced have been showcased at festivals around the world, such as New York City Independent Film Festival, NewFilmmaker New York, China Independent Film Festival, Asian American International Film Festival, among others.  

[ Producer ] Shincy Lu

Born and raised in Canton, China, Shincy (KEXIN) Lu graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a major in Economics and minors in Film, Television and Digital Media; and Cognitive Science. As a passionate advocator for auteur independent films, Shincy founded Sounder Production as a bridge connecting resources from China to the ones overseas and to support younger filmmakers to tell their unique stories. She interned for companies in production and foreign sales and worked for director Brett Morgen. She also worked as an associate producer and story editor for a Chinese independent feature film, THE RIB. She is now a second year producing fellow at American Film Institute.

[ Writer ] G. Wilson

G. Wilson was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. During his studies at UNLV, he was honored with the College of Fine Arts DeVos Scholarship. Several of his films have screened at the Las Vegas Film Festival, and he was awarded the festival's Young Cinema Lab Grant in 2015. After obtaining his BA in Film Studies, he was hired to write and produce content for Vegas.com. Currently enrolled at the AFI Conservatory as a 2nd Year Screenwriting Fellow, he enjoys writing about heavy stuff like society, life, existence, etc.

[ Cinematographer ] Ayinde Anderson

Having spent his first years in this world living in Brooklyn, New York, Ayinde Anderson was exposed to the city known as a melting pot of cultures and ideas. Initially spending his teenage years in athletics and on the drumline, he stumbled upon a newfound passion for cinematography. Since then, Anderson graduated from the filmmaking program at University of North Carolina School of Arts in 2016, and has served as cinematographer on a range of projects including the award-winning short film I ONLY SMILE IN PICTURES (2015).

[ Production Designer ] Harshita Reddy

Born and raised in Bangalore, India, Harshita graduated valedictorian with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from B.M.S School of Architecture. After having trained by Architect Shiny Prabhakar in Interior design, she had the opportunity to train at Mindspace Architects headed by Ar. Sanjay Mohe, one of India's renowned architects. After graduation, she worked at KMK Event Management Limited, as an assistant to Production Designer and Art Director Pekati Ranga Rao who has designed over 250 Indian regional movies.

[ Editor ] Guangwei Du

Guangwei is an honorary graduate of Communication University of China with a BA in Film Directing and Editing. Her directing short debut, PAST SUMMER (2011), was selected as special screening at 2012 Cinequest Film Festival. Her editing credits include but not limited to: JUNE (2014), XIAO NAN (2014), POETRY IN MOUNTAINS (2015) and HIDE AND SEEK (2016). Guangwei's films have been showcased at numerous film festivals, including Shanghai International Film Festival, Asian University Film Festival and China Short Film Academy Award. She is now a second-year Editing Fellow at American Film Institute.
